The MistBuster® 850 is a precision-engineered electrostatic mist and smoke collection system designed for high-load metalworking applications, including CNC machining, grinding, and electrical discharge machining (EDM). Utilizing a multi-stage filtration process, including a high-capacity electrostatic precipitator and optional HEPA or activated carbon modules, it effectively captures submicron particulate, oil mist, and smoke. The unit delivers up to 850 CFM of airflow while maintaining low power draw and minimal acoustic impact. Its modular design supports multiple mounting configurations (machine, wall, ceiling, or stand) and includes a patented coolant selector switch for optimized performance across water-soluble and oil-based coolant operations. The system ensures OSHA and NIOSH-compliant air quality in precision manufacturing environments.
